  1. 1. Practise short sprints.

    2. Have oranges at  half time.

  2. There are no short terms or quick fit to do this and it’s all depending on your age build and where you are in the season.

I take it from your question you're asking about a special warm up that you are in season and already playing.

There are a number of things you can do in practise to make you better which involves training for speed agility and quickness, these include Ladder Speed Run, Uphill Speed Runs, Downhill Speed Run (3 – to 7 Degree Decline), Falling Starts, Ins and Outs, Cone Drills (Figure Eights, S-Patten Run, Zigzag, E-Movement, H-Movement) and Plyometrics (Rope- Skipping, In-place Ankle Jumps, Scissor Jumps, Lateral Skaters, In-place Tuck Jumps, Vertical Jump) Quick Reaction Drills (Directional Mirror Drill) and so much more.

All these drills you can put together to create a great warm up drill as well.

Doing the above at practise and using it as a warm up drill will help you to improve while in season, but the best form of improving in touch is practicing as a team.

Touch Rugby is a team game and for you to play better, your team must know how you and each other, play and to do this you could practise by playing 3 on 3 or 5 on 5.

Playing each other and together will help you and your team to get to know each other in playing both offense and defence.

This will increase the ability of you being a much better player.

I hope this is of some help; Best of luck mate and have fun.

  4. try some standard training drills like 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 the objects is obviously to use the extra person to beat the two defenders
