How to preserve doughnuts...?

Question

I bought some doughnuts today, and i want to keep some for tomorrow. Do i leave them in their dunukin' doughnuts box, at room temp? Do i refrigerate them? Or do i just eat them now?

If they are fresh put them in a plastic container. If they are from an industry source such as Hostess just them them out until tomorrow.

Remove from carton and keep them on the counter in a plastic zipper bag.  They should stay fresh at least until the next day after purchasing.  If longer you may want to refrigerate, then wrap in a paper napkin and warm in the micro for approx. 5 to 10 seconds just before eating.

If you freeze them in a tightly sealed ziploc bag, they will keep.  If you have some with powder sugar that will get a little sticky when you thaw them.  To thaw them you have to give it a 1/2 hour or so at room temp.  Refrigerating them will just dry them out.
