Question:

How to punch harder and faster?

i want to be able to knockout a guy in just one or two blows.. and i need my punches to be much harder than they are now for that..

  2. If you rotate your body with the punch, you will be able to put more force into a hit. Working on core muscles will help with that.

    Also, for knockouts, placement is also important. Hits on the temple are more effective than hits on the forehead.

  3. fist start by loosening up a bit and shorten your punch by closing the distance a bit more, this will allow more follow through and speed up the punch, as the punch has to travel a shorter distance and your looser and sharper, plant you feet more and push up with your legs on impact, just before impact pivot the wrist also twist from the waist whilst delivering the punch, if you are throwing a cross then don't sit down on the punch as much and try to bring the shoulder over the top on impact of the punch. The correct technique will improve speed and power far better than banging on a punch bag

  4. for starters try uping ur hev bag  2nd lead with opisite foot as punch and pivot ur hips upon contact[step through ur punch].  chin and temple , the sides of chin as opose to direct r more affective}.  during ur workout upon completion of shoulder raises retain the same free weights, take your stance and work through ur combos
