  1. The other Road Route is going  to Palakad from Madurai via Pollachi and then to Angamali on the road to Ernakulam and from Angamali to Kalady


  2. There is no place around Madurai by name kaladi.  The nearest name for the place mentined by you near madurai is kamudhi.  

    The path is Madurai - Thirupuvanam - Manamadurai - Parthibanur - Kamudhi.  Roads are good.

  3. do u mean kalady in kerala(near ernakulam).then there are two ways i think.one way is NH 49. madurai-munnar-kothamangalam-perumbavur-... route would save u some time and distance.but hilly road.road was good when i traveled last month.i dont know exact details about the other way
