How to remove a setup file?

It's installed on my desktop and does not want to delete- an application file.

  1. do u get a message like "Currently in use" or sumthing like that? f u do then restart ur computer and then try deleting it

    well, even if u dont get a message try restarting anyway, just the minute ur desktop comes up and u see the file delete it.
