How to remove paper glue?

Question

There was a paper sheet glued to a metal surface; I removed it with water, but a lot of the glue remained there, and it looks ugly and sticks. How can I remove it?

use  lighter  fluid!!.    IT  or  Zippo  brand

I'd use either WD40 or Goo Gone.  Both work really well for removing adhesive.  Good luck.

Yep WD 40 works on a lot of household problems.
