How to renew canadian passport?

My cousin is a Canadian Citizen and has been out of the country for over 5 years. How would she go about renewing her passport? Her passport expired on 2005

She should get to the nearest Canadian consulate or embassy ASAP.  Otherwise she could end up arrested and even deported.

She should've done it as soon as it expired.  If she is still out of the country she needs to find the Canadian Consulate in the country she is in and contact them.
