  1. Well......there are no specific measurments in running I'd say.

You see, people run in different patterns and lenghts according to different factors of thier body. Like length of feet and height of a person.

I'd say the pain/discomfort COULD be because of excessive running or bad shoes. Cus there is no such thing as" running wrong" you see..^^

Wear special types of "Running SHoes". they've got extra cushion and support your ankles and knees.

Take care from now as excessive running could lead to injury..^^

    Happy runnin!

Also I'd agree with the first answerer. She;s given you some basic running tips..^^

    10 points??^^

  2. you have to run, to get in a rythmn and get your body used to it. If you re tight or sore, sometimes it takes awhile to loosen up and fall into a nice cadence.

remember you need 180 steps per minute

  3. my doctor told me that maybe 60% of active young people get rubbing problems in their knees.  do they swell? the shin bone could be bothering your cartilige.  regardless if its that or not, try wrapping them with an ace bandage when you run.  I do that and tape my knee caps over to the side a little and I have no problems.

  4. Hips under you, arms with hands open moving not ACROSS your body but in lines parallel to your sides, hit with your heels first, and as for distance, just play around with it until you find something comfortable.  Try not to cross your feet over each other in the front...if your knees are directly above your feet, it seems like the pressure of hitting the ground would stress out the joints less.

Good luck, hope you feel better!
