I wanted to ship a boat from Texas to the country of Panama. How would I go about doing this?

Who ships boats overseas?

How much do you think it'll cost more or less?

Here's a link to what the boat looks like: http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n436/orion5893/0802006.jpg

I've looked throughout the net and can't really find any useful info. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  1. Go PERSONALLY to the docks and find a ship heading to Panama and make a deal with the captain to take that toy on as deck cargo.  I though you had a REAL boat to move... that thing would fit in a lifeboat on any real boat.

Deck cargo... it shouldn't cost you more than a few hundred dollars to get it to panama and that's more than it's worth.

Why don't you just BUY a boat in Panama... there are so cheap there you can pick one up for a FRACTION of what it will cost you to send that toy as deck cargo.

  2. get sailing =]

  3. Your kidding right?????????????

  4. Try boatxchange.com.  We shipped a 56' Hartmann Palmer MY from Montreal to Sydney, Australia, using this site to hook up with our shipper.  The boat actually went on a Global Containers ship.

  5. talk to an overseas container company oocl, hamburg, yang ming, ect.
