After a house fire last year, the sheet rock in the entire house was removed down to the studs & the tub/shower unit/stall were replaced with new. They are 4 pc fiberglass units, consisting of the tub & 3 wall pieces (front, side & back piece). Since we moved back into the house approx. 3 months ago, both of the showers leak. It is so bad the sheetrock is wet & it has caused holes to develop. The wet area in the sheetrock is at both ends of the tub/shower unit where the shower walls sit/meet the tub unit then it runs out of the sides into the sheetrock. The contractor & I have both caulked, then removed old & recaulked the tub letting it set for 4-5 days at a time, several times. The contractor also installed shower doors (after the fact) in an unsuccessfull attempt to stop leak. Both showers leak at the same place where the walls run down and sit on the tub area then out to the side. There is no water leak at shower head, nor water splashing in floor. How can I get the leak to stop?
