People can't take advantage of you or manipulate you without your permission.  Put your foot down, take a firm stance, and hold your ground.

Don't socialize with them anymore.A manipulator usually won't stop,they will just find other ways to manipulate.I had the same problem with a so called friend and since I excluded them from my life i feel lots better.
