How to teach literature?

how am i going to teach literature in an exiting way and in artistic way so that it would not be boring?? my topic is about the information of Indonesia and the story of 'the king of the giants and princess srikante' help me plsss..what games can you give me relating it to the topic..tnx 4 d help

Make the characters come alive for the students.  Make them seem real in their own lives.  I know that might be somewhat hard if dealing with Shakespeare, but it can be done.  Relate Romeo and Juliet with real young love today, or show how the kings, queens and prince/princess folks are here today, either in reality royalty (UK) or as the elites in the school, or compare them with the Hiltons or some other celebrity.  Then, show the peasants as friends and people walking the hall and taking the same classes as the student.  Make it real for them.  Role playing is a possible game to play.

you should make it exciting rather than exiting...you don't want the students to do that while you teach...
