I am seventeen years old and I moved to Wisconsin from Michigan on my own. I had Michigan Insurance through The State, but I have searched the internet all over and cannot find any answers. Is it possible to change my Michigan state insurance over to Wisconsin State Insurance..

Please let me know if it is possible and how to do that.

thank you very much

  2. No, it's not possible to change the insurance to Wisconsin, you'll need to reaply. Search out "Wisconsin Medicaid" and you'll find the website for Wisconsin.

  3. Ah, that's welfare insurance.

Insurance is NOT transferrable from one state to the next.  If you have welfare insurance, you have to apply for it in the new resident state, assuming you're emancipated.  Otherwise, if you're not emancipated, your parent has to apply for it for you, AND they have to be living in that new state, too.
