How to write a date?

I have a business form from a client. There is a portion of the form that needs to be filled in. please show me how to correctly write the date in

Dated At:___________

This________________

  1. It looks to me like it should read:  

    Dated at:  (fill in the time of day)  

    This:  (here's where the date goes)  

    Example:  

    Dated at:  eight-thirty a.m.  

    This: 26th day of August, 2008.  

    Hope this helps.  Usually dates are written like this when the form requires a notary.  If so, the notary might need to be the one that dates it.  Check first.  


  2. there is no wrong way to write a date.

    I'm not sure when they say dated at if they are requesting the time.

    american date is mm/dd/yy

    english date is dd/mm/yy

    and to be safe you can write

    26th Aug 2008

    That is perfectly fine!!

  3. Dated at: 3:50p.m.

    This 26th day of August 2008

    Or

    This 26th of August 2008
