ok, i want this haircut, and i am definitely getting it.

do you think it looks good? will it look good with naturally straight black hair?

i AM going to bring in the picture to the hair salon, but if my friends or someone ask what style it is or something when they see me, how should i describe it?

Hi There,

I am an image consultant and I feel like I can help with your question.  Hair cuts are amazing not only when they look great on you but also because its not like science where when you discover it and then its given a name and it will be forever called that and no one can change that.  With a haircut you can get the same cut and have several names for it.  Take for example the front layered cut, its also known as the Jennifer Anniston hairdo, or take the bob for example, its also known as the Katie Holms look now.  If you are asking what kind of look does this resemble then I would say the Shaggy Emo Layer:  Shaggy b/c its tamed but feathered sharply and Emo b/c of the sharp feathering, color, and hair covering the face.  Its a great hair style but remember that your hair will be in the face a lot so make sure your hair stays oil free or it will contribute to a lot of break outs.  Other than that feel free to make up a name you think resembles your style the best, hair dos are like a piece of artwork each one looks different and unique.  Good luck on your new look!
