How you find your ip address?

Well, the easiest way to do this is to visit a website such as : http://www.whatsmyip.com

or this method:

1. Click on start.

2. Click on run

3. Type "cmd" without the quotes, ofcourse!

4. Type "ipconfig /all" again without the quotes.

Thats it! You can find out everything a beginner needs to know!

Or if your friend's Mac is on a network and she wants her computer's specific IP address (within her network), she can go to System Preferences and click on Network.  It will show the internal network IP address.  If she is directly connected to the internet, it will show her IP address that her internet service provider has given her.
