Hsmp enquiry?

i applied for my hsmp on the 14th february 2008 and still awaiting response. no response to my phone calls as well. i heard from my employer in india that they were enquiring abt my previous earnings around may 2008. just wondering if anyone has any knowledge.

Due to Extra load the waiting time for HSMP has long much longer than normal ( plz check the website below). At present they are talking 90 days, so 14th Feb application was actually started to be dealt with around 15 June (90 days from the date, would be September time, so you should expect response any time until September).

When the officer dealing your case has suspicions about your documents or the information you submitted they try to confirm it from the source & if source is not quick enough the decision goes into delay. Please wait for a while. If you dont hear from them until 180 days from the date of your application please write them in details asking them what is happening with your application.
