They have however, retained interest in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 international and are attempting to sign him this time around even though there has been a change in management. Andre Villas-Boas was sacked in March by the Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich after a series
of poor performances.
In his place, former assistant manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 on a more permanent basis.
He is apparently interested in signing Hulk, despite having already brought in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 squad.
While Hazard and Marin are fantastic players, they are both young and inexperienced. What Di Matteo needs in his squad is the inclusion of an experienced player who can bring something to the club, something that has disappeared with the departure of Didier
Drogba.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 has denied meeting with Chelsea or coming to any sort of agreement with them or any other side for that matter. He revealed he had four years remaining on his contract with FC Porto and was focusing on the upcoming Olympics with Brazil.
Hulk said while speaking to reporters:
“I have done nothing with Chelsea or any other club. I have four more years on my contract with Porto and I'm focusing on the national team.
I haven't talked to anyone. As everyone knows, I don't follow negotiations closely as that will make me lose my focus. I let my agent deal with that stuff.”
