Hurricane Bertha in S.C?

Question

Next week i'm going to Charleston S.C and i recently heard about Hurricane Bertha. I'm really worried that it will hit Charleston...could anyone fil me in on whats going on! Thank You!!! Please provide links! :)

Living in NC for 44 years (half of which on the outer banks)  I  have watched a lot of hurricanes trajectory toward the states. By my  past experience the ones that start where this one is will never reach the States but turn north within a day or two of the coastline. However this is only when the category of the hurricane stays below a 4. The stronger it becomes less likely it will be for it to turn northwards. But best to just watch the noaa site as above.

be safe!! make sure it isn't heading there before you go no matter what you need  done there isn't worth your safety
