  1. well so far i hear from the weather channel that the eye of katrina never hit new orleans cz at the landfall katrina took another way..gustav they said that it will hit new orleans  hopefully nothing bad happen in all the gulf....sorry for my english.....(houston tx sunday august 31 11:31pm)

  2. Hopefully not.

  3. It is being over reported to cover up something else.  Start investigating news outside of your TV sets and look into this.  It is showing non-stop for almost 4 full days now on msnbc/fox/cbs and shows no signs of slowing.  Where is all the other news?  Whats happening out there besides the hurricane?  I dont think it's a "conspiracy" but I think they are taking advantage of the opportunity to get our attention on something else that really is overblown.  If you dont believe me and think I am being paranoid wait until monday afternoon and see what is said.  Nothing will happen and they will try to stretch this thing out as long as they can but you will see how much non sense this all is blown way out of proportion.  Watch and see.

  4. i highly doubt it

  5. You never really know yet, we have to pray for the best.

Right now its a category three.. it went down from a four, but it is spose to get up to five which is the highest.

They say Gustav is spose to be Katrina's big brother, but i don't think it can get too much worse than Katrina. Its such a shame because they havent even come close to rebuilding the damages from Katrina..

    Here are Hurricane categories...

    Tropical Storm

    Winds 39-73 mph

    Category 1 Hurricane — winds 74-95 mph (64-82 kt)

    - Examples: Irene 1999 and Allison 1995

    Category 2 Hurricane — winds 96-110 mph (83-95 kt)

    Category 3 Hurricane — winds 111-130 mph (96-113 kt)

Some structural damage to small residences and utility buildings. Large trees blown down. Mobile homes and poorly built signs destroyed. Flooding near the coast destroys smaller structures with larger structures damaged by floating debris. Terrain may be flooded well inland.

    - Examples: Keith 2000, Fran 1996, Opal 1995, Alicia 1983 and Betsy 1965
