Do you know whether or not hypotension due to barbiturates is connected to their action on GABA receptors in the CNS or to other actions as well?

This is the same answer as your previous question in that inhibition of the autonomic ganglia (by barbiturates) result in loss of cardiac output and transient hypotension.
