Question:

Hypothetical question about plants?

We all know that most plants grow in the direction of the sun. Do you suppose that if a plant were to somehow grow at an extremely fast pace that it would grow in a semi-circular motion from sunrise to sunset.

(Asking this question is much more entertaining with hand gestures to immitate the plant's growth) :^(

  1. sunflowers do.

  2. Actually if you watch a time lapse of some plants over the course of the day they do sort of twirl around, there's no noticeable growth of course, but it's still fun to watch.

  3. Answering this hypothetically..if a plant Can grow that fast along with the sunrise and sunset..it would form a sort of an arc..
