I'm jealous of my mom

Question

ok i know this sounds mean and shallow

but i'm an average looking person

and i'm pretty comfy with myself

but whenever people meet my mom

they're like "God! Is that your mom?!?! She's gorgeous!"

i mean no ones ever told me im pretty

and i'm what am i supposed to say "gee thanks.."

so wat do i do?

p.s. i'm happy she pretty but why can't i be as pretty as her, thats what males me sad.

oh i tryly understand u and jelousy is not an easy thing to deal with....

the only thing i can say is that time is the only thing to end jelousy..

i get were your coming from my mum is nearly 50 and has a body better than Madonnas , my mums an ex dancer tho.

Instead of worrying about your looks, worry more about your inner qualities. In the long run thats what will make you the person you want to be.

If you have a hot mom be proud!! Don't be jealous!  You're expected to be pretty because you're young, but it's rare for a mom.

besides your her child and if she's gorgeous than your goregous!

if its kids your age they are probably saying that your mom is gorgeous because they like her & they probably like you too but they don't want you to know cause there shy and plus their your age., and they see you everyday so they don't know how you would react if they knew that they liked you

When I was younger (like 10 and below) I was a little overweight and no body really liked me, but my mom was skinny and gorgeous, I resented her for it for the longest time.

But now I'm 15 and much thinner, and shes gained weight and is now 40, so don't worry it will all be ok because no moms stay pretty for ever, age catches up with all of them :]

just think when you get older you ll have some of her looks! your pretty in your way. we have or moments when we feel unpretty but im sure you are beautiful.
