I'm scareed. Lightning storm.?

Ok. its 2:30am and theres a huge thunder and lightning storm. I hate them. I'm scared. Whaaat do i do besides getting off the computer?

Maybe this will ease your mind a little. Only 20% of lightning strikes actually touch the ground. The thunder is loud, but there are no dangers as far as thunder is concerned. How to know how close lightning is? Count how many seconds between the lightning that you see and the next thunder clap that you hear. take the number and divide by 5. If you count to twenty: 20 divide by five is ten. That means that the lightning is 10 miles away from you. Stay indoors, too.

Do what the first answerer did. You can also think about sleeping. I love thunderstorms, and I think they're relaxing. Get some hot coco or turn on the tv quietly. Think happy thoughts. lol, good luck.

Well, me, too! But then, I have to make it a point to have with me a pen light or flashlight. And I always see to it that there's no pointed object beside me which might attract the lightning to strike.
