Can a tornado destroy/bring down a brick building? IE; If a tornado was to rip into nyc, can it bring down buildings like Empire State?

Good question. I would guess not, but all the glass would be broken.

It's not the brick, which is not very strong structurally, but the steel beams that support the buildings.
