I NEED EXHAUST HELP!!!!!!!!?

Ive probably asked this question more than once but i still have not gotten the answer i want. I have a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z with a 305 5.0. I have recently rebuilt the engine, put hedmen hedders on it, and punched out the cat. Although i have done all that I still dont have the sound I want. I think all i need is to put a cat back exhaust system on it. But I am not looking to spend more than $350. I am in a real jam here. I really dont want to take the engine apart and put a cam in it.

Just go into your local auto parts store and buy one... Duh...

You may not get the sound you want with a 305.  Maybe it needs a bigger displacement (350?) to get the sound.

Dale is correct, flowmaster mufflers is what you are probably looking for.

In order to get the "tone" you want, you need to look at mufflers. They are now designed for that sound you are looking for. Not a stock muffler or a glasspack but rather a Flowmaster. Some of the best sounding cars out there are the mustangs with a Flowmaster
