I Really Want A Question Answered.?

Question

This isn't to be stupid or anything I am serious. Why do all the Busch fans always talk about Jr. fans being whiny, when in fact the Busch fans whine more than us! They actually believe Mr. 18 is the next Earnhardt. They actually believe he is better. When someone says something about Jr that is good, a lot of the 18 fans give the answer a thumbs down. Then they'll answer a question like "How many championships does Kyle have?" and they'll say - "Kyle is better than Jr. and you all know it Jr. can't do c**p with his life."

Listen, I know there are whiny Jr. fans out there. But the Kyle fans are whiny too. In fact, they're the ones constantly whining about the whining of Jr. fans. So, give me your opinion on it.

I never said Kyle was better than anyone.  In fact I have often said I would like to see another driver or two or three win a race.  I said Kyle has the determination and spirit of Dale Sr.  I never said he was the NEXT anything.  Also...which regular on here..one that posts on a daily basis said that Jr. can't do c**p with his life??  (Um...NONE)   Maybe you better stop letting the trolls get to you whether they be Jr. or Kyle bashers.

I am not a fan of either but kyle is the better driver.  Personally, i don't understand why people call anybody a whiner.  When you lose a race, or your driver loses the race, you are not happy about it.  It doesn't bother me when people whine, as long as they don't put hatred on the winner and say he cheats and sucks.  Dale Jr won michigan by 100% luck.  Kyle wins most of his races by talent.  If Dale Jr would win races legally and show he has talent, i would give him more credit, but as of right now, kyle is the better driver, and dale is just driving around and gettting top 10s.  When the chase starts, dale jr is going to plummet in the chase because you need wins.

I'm just as tired of the Rowdy fans with tunnel vision as I am the Jr fans with tunnel vision.  It's a sport, something to enjoy, not something to get so worked up about.

edit:On the question about Kyle being the next Dale Sr. or better, there were 3 Kyle Busch fans that answered that question, none of us made any such remarks, and all agreed that Kyle will be making his own identity.

There are only about 5 Kyle Busch fans on here, I know who every one of them are. So you're jumping to conclusions that it's Rowdy's fans saying these things..

"My dad can beat up your dad" mentality exists on both sides. Childish on both groups' parts. Care to re-read yours and see if it fits the mold?

Stop dealing with character/personality issues! It's a no-win situation and only causes long time NASCAR fans to believe that the youth movement infusion into the strong, longtime existing fan base is more into petty rivalry than into racing. All of you on both side (or multiple sides) who complain about ANY driver being whiny/g*y, etc., need to stop and analyse driving ability and styles and stay away from stuff that doesn't mean a durn on the race track.

It isn't the true fans of Kyle who say c**p like that, it's the Fair-weather fan Bandwagon jumper ones. I bet you if the roles were reversed and Dale Jr. was leading the points with 7 wins, they'd all be saying how great Jr. is.

im not a fan of either driver. so heres my thought. the bush fans whine because jr gets all the publicity and in mu opinion is way overrated. the first thing bush should do is thank hendrix for firin him.

the jr fans are whinning cause jr had not won in two yrs or a championship and nascar must have listened since they let him bend the rules by passin the pace car to save fuel for a win. keep whinnin and he will get his championship.

I don't post much over here but I have to say that Kyle Busch has pure talent.  Not sure where he got it, but he is awesome.  I'm 47 and have been tagging along with my dad to races since I was about 7 yrs old.  I've been a fan of Kyle Busch since he started.  Even before he had tshirts with his name on them!  Jr doesn't seem to have the passion for racing that his dad had.  Maybe that is why he isn't winning races.

I'm not a fan of Busch, but he and his team is doing well. Dale Jr. is doing pretty well this season, but Busch is doing really well. Kyle Busch is making an name for himself this season, which I don't care, I think he is a jerk at least out of his car.

It's questions like these that make me thankful I'm a Kevin Harvick fan.

And I'm not really sure... Jealousy maybe? I mean there jealous because they know their driver is better than Jr. this season (no offense to Jr fans but come on..) but somehow Jr gets more spot light than Kyle. Well... he used to, thats changed now that Kyle has won almost every race this month. Really good question though. But I really don't know since I'm not a FAN fan of either. I've never cared for Jr. just because of all the hype constantly surrounding him and I've always liked Kyle's attitude and spirit ever since he's stepped into a cup ride, which is waayyy before most of his fans ever started liking him.

I am a member of the long time fan base that Sally B spoke of and echo her sentiment. It's all well and good to have some light hearted ribbing and healthy rivalry, but many folks seem to be incapable of objectivity. I am far from a Kyle Busch fan, but I'll be the first one to say that he is as talented a driver as I've seen. And Ive been a fan since the 60s. We older NASCAR fans take pride in the fact that this is a family sport and therefore try to be good role models for young people. And "fans" that throw things on the track, make baseless personal attacks on drivers/fans, and stir up trouble just for the fun of it are spitting on the reputation of the sport and the legends that have made it what it is. I don't think the person who posted this question is doing that. Some of his/her observations are spot on. But my point is this. Why is it that the writer even feels it necessary to post the question? A few weeks ago, Busch fans were complaining that all they heard about was Jr. Now it's the reverse. We're all getting caught up in this petty (no pun intended) (but it is a good one) s*^t. I don't do chatrooms just because of this type of c**p. I came to this site to exchange information and be a member of a family that is near and dear to me. But I, and a lot of other old school fans, are beginning to stay away because we are sick of the infighting and ignorance. You people are about to lose those of us with a wealth of information and will be left with nothing but a site full of sniping, bickering, angry brats. So ask yourselves. Is that what you want this forum to be? People have literally died to make NASCAR what it is. How about a little respect?
