I am unable to FINALIZE

I am unable to FINALIZE after burning a DVD with NERO. I use NERO to burn the DVD, yhen go to Roxio Creator Basic Vgnto FINALIZE. It says it was done successfully but, when I try to play it on my DVD player, I get and error
