Question:

I dont know how to fight!?

i really need to know how to fight i have never got into a fight before and this bully at my school is really getting on my nerves we are about the same age which is 13. i dont know if i am a normal sized kid i am 5 foot 3 inches and 107 lbs. also my arms are10 inches if i wrap a tape measure around them. i really need to know if i could be a good fighter and what i need to do to be a good fighter also i have a 4 pack (a six pack but 2 missing).

  1. 50% skill, 50% mentality( HEART) ,as a boxer/fighter you always have to believe that you are the better man and that you can take him, if not then just live without fightin, in middle school as a 6th grader I used to pick on 8th graders, simply because I didnt have enough sense to understand that they are bigger than me and beat me up, DONT EVER FEAR YOUR OPPONENT if you are a true fighter


  2. well i used to be bullied and then i just started working out now hes afraid of me so maybe that will help if hes alot biger or stronger than you just do a faint punch at his face then with your right fist punch him in the thigh. thats the most cheapest thing i ever did good luck hope i helped

  3. Ever see the episode of King of the Hill where Bobby kicks everyone in the balls?  That seemed to work out for him.  But I think you do have to say, "hay, gimme back my purse. I don't know you" before you kick him in the balls.  At least that's the way Bobby did it.  If that's not your style, just fight him.  Who cares if you get beat up?  It's no big deal.  If he beats you up and then keeps harassing you fight him again.  If you keep doing this he'll eventually stop nobody wants to mess with some lunatic who keeps coming after them even though they've lost before.

  4. Learn to defend yourself but do it for the right reason. Do not learn to fight to prove yourself to anyone. You have nothing to prove nor disprove to anyone but yourself. Start working out and build some muscle and the missing two pack will come so that you can have that six pack abs.

    It is dangerous today to get into fights because 13 year old know how to carry a knife and/or gun with them. It is not what it used to be where you go off somewhere after school and throw down the fisticuffs. Weapons now get into play and lives get taken.

    Report this harrassment to a school counselor. That is one of the reasons they are there.

  5. You do not need to fight. Speak with some adults about the bully (principal, teachers, counselor) and also your parents, guardian, and if none of this helps, local police.

    Fighting is a last resort (self defense), and if you use your head you can prevent possible injury and problems at school (i.e. suspension, expulsion, etc.)

    The one who needs the help is the bully. He needs to deal with his insecurities, and if you involve some adults they will get him the help he needs and spare you a fight you do not need.

If you are going to fight the kid, you should first get some training in boxing.  Or, if you prefer, it might be another martial art, such as Tae Kwon Do.  I'd also suggest working out to get stronger.  But mainly, you want to be prepared to defend yourself if you are going to get into a fight.  This might be good for your self-confidence in general, and maybe he would stop picking on you and you won't have to fight!
