ive had it for like 3 years now. no major problems but changed the breaks back then. i bought it used 3 years ago. but recently like two days ago, when i hit the gas it struggles to get to 35 adn then when im at 35 it rides smoothly. when i stop at a stop sign or red light its still in first gear. weird?

what causes this? oil? something wrong with the gas?

  1. Take to a GOOD Trans. shop, not the dealer. They can fix just as well as dealership at about 1/2 the price. If I had to guess repair could range from $125 basic fluid change to $1000 whole new tranny.

    Good Luck

  2. if it stays in a bigger gear like 3rd its in fail safe limp mode until you fix whatevers wrong

if it wont accelerate through first correctly then theres something wrong with first clutchs and brakes, solinoids, fluid running torque converter and changes gears
