Question:

I feel anxious. Why?

At some point during the day whether I am driving, working, getting rest, etc. I tend to feel anxious. And by anxious I mean that I can't sit still, I have A LOT running through my mind, I tend to worry about how I am making ppl feel, and I often get 'short breath'.

Is this anxiety? or stress? I don't have panic attacks. I am not depressed and I don't have any mental history. I am not on medication. I am genuinely a happy person.

But I wish I could just relax sometimes.

  1. Yes these are anxiety symtptoms...

But your anxiety is very limited in time and the strength of symtoms, which is very good for you.

Try to relax whenever you get this feeling, try taking a deep breathe and turn your thoughts away from the thought bothering you.

I want to tell you one thing: nobody can be loved and respected by everyone he meets. Noone in history could make this happen.. you're no better. I'm tryimg to say that whatever you do, however sweet and wonderful you were, you will bother few people, unintentionally of course.

    Stop worrying about others' feelings.

You act like you feel you should and let others evaluate your behavior like you evaluate theirs, but most of all don't worry about it.

  2. Go and speak with your Dr. about this-make sure that you book a complete physical exam to rule out that there is nothing wrong with your health-this may be hormonal.

  3. It is anxiety AND stress

  4. Try this: Whenever a thought comes into your mind, throw it back out again. Do this until there are no thoughts left in your mind, and you've achieved a state of equilibrium. It's not as easy as it sounds.

  5. One of the first syptoms of dehydration is irritability.  This occurs long before someone even feels thirsty.

Based upon the symptoms you describe it is possible that you are simply low on water when you feel this way.  If you drink soda or coffee with caffeine in it, this also tends to further dehydrate your body.

The simplest way to test this possibility is simply drinking a glass of water when you start to feel this way and see if you feel better.  A cold glass of water can often go a long way to making someone feel better.

  6. It's probably because you associate this time of day with a traumatic event in the past.  You have concluded that this time of day is dangerous because of what happened way back when.

Get this book, read the initial chapters so you know how to apply its powerful tools to your situations, and then do the written exercises.  Highly recommended:  http://www.amazon.com/Ten-Days-Self-Este...
