A friend of mine is on O2, and I got an message as O2 sender and then the number.

What does it mean O2 alert ?

How did she send the message, is there a free messaging on O2 ?

O2 alert just informs you of incoming text/picture messages. some o2 phones have free txt messaging but it depends what sim card you have.
