I had MRSA 5 months ago?

I had MRSA in late March of 2008 and it has been cured since April 2008. I want to get my belly button pierced, by a professional of course, how long should I and need to wait to get it pierced because there will be an open hole in my body and since I had MRSA and its in my blood couldnt I get MRSA again from it?

yes there is a chance it will infect, even though the antibiotics are still in your system.

Yes you can get it again. Piercing doesn't sound like a good idea. If you decide to do it, you should inform the person who does it, as it is very contagious. The best thing would be to get advice from your physician.
