I had diarrhea while on keflex...?

and i took the kelfex for about a week, then stopped it and continued to have diarrhea for another week.

is that normal?

Absolutely.  Keflex is an antibiotic.  As all antibiotics, they kill both the good and bad flora.  Therefore you had diarrhea.

You should discuss this with your Doctor - he probably would have changed you medication - some antibiotics have this effect!

Yes that is normal, Keflex is strong stuff.  You are supposed to eat yogurt three times a day when you take it in order to prevent diarrhea.  Last time I had to take it I actually bled from my bowels it was so bad.  But yogurt or kefir will clear it up.
