I have 96 trans am question?

Question

recently I change the water.But now when i Poor water in my raditor cap it just seeps straight threw abd comes out of this hole on the water pump ? should it do that ?whats the hole?

and as i was putting it back together i notice there is 2 sensors that goes on the air intake , the one closest to the air filter on has one sensor, But the other one by the throttle body has one going into the intake and another wire feeding off from it well not really feeding off of it but its coming from the same wiring unit and i dont know where that one goes help?

and one more question even tho i poored coolant in my car on the dash its still says low coolant. and when i start my car the radiator fan comes on on immediatly . Can you tell what i did wrong

Its called a WEEP hole.it means your pump is shot.You need a new one or put ALUMASEAL in it to plug the Weep hole.Re attach the sensors since it says low when its not

That hole in your water pump is called a weep hole. It's there so you will know that a seal has blown out in your water pump.Have the pump replaced and you should have no problems.

The hole in the water pump is caled the weep hole when the seals go out in the pump this is where the water comes out. if it is leaking out here you need a new water pump. About the wiring i couldnt tell ya unless i was looking at it. As for the low coolant light, most vehicles have an overflow bottle eperate from the radiator it may just be a matter of filling up that bottle there is no sensor in the actual radiator to tell when the coolant is low, if that doesnt work...the sensor in the bottle could be bad.

thats the weep hole in the water pump, its time to change it. your probably thinking about the throttle position sensor and the idle control sensor. probably the reason it says the coolant is still low, because it still is, start your car and let the water pump pick it up, then keep filling it up until its full.

omg you totally messed up!!!! you did it all wrong!!!!

just kidding i am n a good mood and felt like messing around.

the whole on your water pump is called the weep hole, pee hole or whatever you want to call it. the water pump is bad and needs to be replaced.  the sensor close to your air filter could be either your air intake temp sensor or your mass air flow sensor. the ones close to your throttle body is most likely you tps or throttle position sensor. and sensors only plug into the correct location so just double check and look again and i am sure you will find it. you fan coming on immediately hmmm is your ac on if so that's y if your fan is straight wired to your battery or ignition that is y 2. but it would only be wired like that if someone did that. well good luck.

you need a water pump, that hole releases coolant when the seal is bad.
