I have Just Changed My Name???

Question

I changed my name using the deed poll. Is there a central databse or a central organisation that I notify (who will then proceed to change my name everywhere) or must I consult each data holder seperately. for example must I individually notify my bank, passport office, National Insurance office etc that I have changed my name, or do I just notify one party who will then further notify all my record holders???

All the important ones like the bank and dvla and passport you do the debt collectors and that dont its only on a need to know basis

Sadly no.  I'd just print off a standard letter and send it along with a photo-copy of your deed poll certificate to EVERYBODY!  It usually takes a long while for all of them to update though but the sooner you do it the better.
