I have a Garendia tree?

Question

I have gardenia tree any special tips for it? Is it a slow grower, tree wise. I get quite a few flowers..but I want more..I have had it 7 months and its about 3' tall.

What special fertilizers besides plant food and miracle grow,thx

add some coffee grinds. adds some acid to the soil and will cause many more blooms, and more leaf growth too.
