i have a friend that had a hard drive failure and they bought a new hard drive, they asked me if i would help them to get it back to a operational state. i took thier computer to my house to restore the hard drive with the restore disks that came with thier computer and when i get to the point to use the restore cd roms it says this must be a gateway computer. So i'm somewhat confused as to what to do since it is a gateway and its the disks that came with it why is it doing this. long story short, i formated the hard drive and fdisk it like i have done on other computers. PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO LOOK TOTALLY STUPID.
