I have a phobia of..?

I have a phobia of someone hiding under my bed that when i fall asleep there going to come out and kill me.... even if i check under my bed before i go to sleep i still get scared. Is there a phobia name for this?

i dont think thts a phobia. maybe you should put ur matress on the floor so there wont be an "under the bed" ((((:

It is called Nyctophobia.

The process of normal fear turning into phobia is very similar.

Many types of fear/phobia are identified, you can  find some in a web blog.

Nyctophobia is common among young teens who often fear that something bad will happen to them
