I have a stabbing pain?

It is under my lower ribs on the left side. I can feel it sometimes at night. It comes and goes. It has been about 5 days now. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is a 4, but still I am concerned. I am diabetic if that makes any difference.

I've heard that diabetes can cause some pains. Maybe ask your doctor the next time you go. Unless it persists for a week, then i would go soon. But i also get chest pains, like a pinch or stab that causes shortness of breath. Those are normal tho. I have no clue why girls get them but my doctor said they were normal

i am not a doctor, but out of experience i can say it is probably a muscle spasm, i think i had the same experience, but i suggest that you deffinitely go to the doctor asap and get a second opinion and a peaceful mind,  that's how i found out, i was concerned i would have to have my appendix removed or something, but she said that all it was was muscle aches.  so please go to make sure it's not serious, you never know but i'm sure you'll be fine, good luck and God bless!!!!!!!!.
