I have a u220w monitor

I have a u220w monitor which has a rectangular screen but the picture is square leaving both sides black for about 3 inches on each side. I want to fill the entire screen. I just had the windows vista program restore by best buy.

I paid for a repair yesterday but have m not heard back. my purchase number is ea41a.

Can you help me?
