I have a woodchuck on my property. He keeps going over to my wood pile and chucking all the wood. How much wood exactly, I don't know. If any one can tell me to within a few pounds, how much wood the normal woodchuck can chuck in one hour?

  1. If you don`t let him chuck it chuck, he woodn`t be able to chuck that much.

  2. Groundhogs don't chuck wood.

  3. A woodchuck will, on average, chuck about 5 times it's body weight in 1 hour! Amazing but true, so estimate the size of said woodchuck, and figure he/she will chuck 5x that amount every 60min. If by chance said woodchuck is chucking wood in the rain, you can reduce the amount of wood chucked by half, in order for a woodchuck to chuck wood eficiantly, the wood being chucked and the woodchuck chucking wood must be fairly dry. Hope that helps.

    Good luck

  4. Too many variables to give any accurate answer. The chuckability capacity of woodchucks is based on many factors!! : P

  5. if a wood chuck could chuck wood a wood chuck would chuck as much wood as a wood chuck could.
