  1. Here is a checklist

1.Have you installed the soundcard drivers?

    2.are your speakers turned on?

3.Is your audio muted?(go to control panel to resolve)

4.are your speakers dead(try connecting it to another computer

  2. Maybe your sound card isn't installed.

Did the same problem occur before one time? Or is it since you bought and installed Windows? If the latter, then you should install your sound card driver first - provided in your Mother-board's CD.

If the first thing happened, maybe your jack isn't plugged in well. Or something happened with the speaker. Try checking the hardware.

As far as I know, things like this aren't usually originated from the software.

  3. you probobly deleted a driver or never installed your sound card driver. if not then the program attached willrepair the sound driver for you. may take a few mins depending on your sound card, and you may have to disable internet security because it connects to different servers searching for drivers

  4. check the mute button. then try another pair of speakers. then install a updated driver.

  5. Have you always had no sound? If not what have you changed recently?

First restart your system and make sure your speakers are plugged in? yes

Then you might want to try and go into the device manager or control panel/sound and audio devices/hardware tab/properties/driver and update your drives. make sure you select your sound card.

If you just updated your drives then do a driver roll back.

    Hope that helps
