I just got a HDTV..?

Question

and I get my HD channals through my cable provider. Sometimes when I turn to a HD channel, the picture is scrambled a little bit.

Is this problem of the cable provider? Or with the "cables" that's connected to my TV.

My cable is conneted to Componant IN, not HDMI. The cable guy didn't have any HDMI cables when he came and hooked it up.

Some tv 's can receive a hd signal through the component cables from an hd box. But some can not receive that signal and only through hdmi cable. Some channels are scrambled from the cable provider, and the box unscrambles them, so I would suggest to call the cable provider, because it could be the box. The box may have a slow response time.

component cables are capable of outputting 1080i, which cable is broad casted in.  The scrambled effect comes from a weak signal strength.  The best way to have this problem resolved is to have your cable service provider run a direct rg6 line to your home.
