i haven't had my period in 3 months. I'm a virgin so there is no way that i'm pregnant. I don't know what's going on. I've gone to the doctor and he said that it was normal! THIS ISN'T NORMAL! Please help, i'm getting a second opinion.

  1. its normal but it depend a lot on you age , if you are... 13 to 15 its very normal, because it happen to me too but if you are older you have too see a doc.

    However, just because it's *common* for people to go for months without having a period, doesn't mean that you are necessarily healthy. Perhaps you're normal, or perhaps there's something else going on.

    For example, if you are on a diet or are very thin, your period can stop due to malnutrition. Hormone imbalances can also cause periods to mysteriously disappear, as can certain uterine infections.

    Good on you for seeking out a second opinion from another doctor. Doctors are people too, and can make mistakes.
