I like my friends crush.?

So my bestfriend likes this guy named Josh and she told me to talk to him for her. So i did. I asked him for his phone number so we can talk. And for the past week we've talked for like 3 hours every day. And i still havent told her. I feel really bad because now he's telling me he likes me and that he wants to take me out. And Im starting to have feelings for him. And I've asked him what he thinks of my bestfriend and he says shes too shy for him and just not his type. I really dont know what i should do. Oh and to make this sitiuation worse, he said he's had a crush on me since freshman year [Im about to enter senior year] and my best friend is the real emotional type, please help!!

If YOU asked for his number so YOU could talk, I don't see the point that you talked to Josh for your friend. And you still haven't told her? If Josh likes you and you like him then you guys should date. Even though your friend is the emotional type, Josh seemingly doesn't like her... for whatever reason. So they don't belong together... Fascinating, I see this clearly... Josh and you belong together. But I don't know how long... Which is more important, Josh or your friend?
