  1. I rather it Rylan Cooper as well!

  2. im not sure about the cooper. why dont you name him something unique, it'd be nice growing up with a name that nobody in the school has. i like the name casual

  3. i love Rylan Cooper

  4. I think your partner is a wise person.

  5. Not to offend you...but I do not like the name Cooper, it sounds like someones last name. But I like the name Rylan.

  6. Cooper sounds like cheese,

    ...

    No offense.

    Rylan is cute though.

    thats just my opinion.

  7. I don't but thats just me....I say rylan as a first name or rylan cooper that sounds better!

  8. i agree with ur partner

  9. I love Cooper,Rylan not as much but its OK. Its your baby so you are the one who has to love it.

How about Cooper Rhys (pronounced reese, boys spelling)  or even Cooper Ryan? If your partner doesn't like Cooper does he/she like Connor? Its close and really cute too. The middle names still work.

I'd pick your two favorites and when he's born you will know which name suits him best. i promise it happens for all of us. Your heart fills with love, your brain turns to mush and you think, thank God baby "xyz" is here! Congrats and good luck!

  10. The name reminds me of the now defunct TV series 'the OC', because two of the main characters names are Marissa *Cooper* and *Ryan* Atwood. So Cooper Rylan does sound a bit pop-culture influenced to me...

I don't mind the name Cooper, though it does remind me of a chicken coop. On the other hand, I really dislike the name Rylan. It sounds so made up and faddish. The name is too trendy for my taste, and I think it will sound rather dated in another twenty or so years. Why not instead go for the contemporary classic Ryan? Or the handsome, underused Irish names Ronan or Rowan? Rowan Carter and Ronan Cooper look so much more handsome and classic than Cooper Rylan.

  11. I love the name cooper!!! but Rylan could be mistaken for ryan - just spelt wrong.

  12. Rylan Cooper. You still have the two names and it sounds even more better :D

  13. I like Cooper, not so keen on rylan

  14. i like its as cooper rylan but... if your partner doesnt like it well mabye try for something else,,, watch some old movies you like and mabye choose a name from that. my Names shelby mum got it from steel magnolias and everyone loves it.

    hope this helps

    xx

  15. See if you still love it after you have said it 100 times.  You will be yelling it alot.

  16. It's cute, but it's too cute. Cooper is really climbing the charts these days. I've seen quite a few in the past few years. But, no matter how many times I see it, I can't really picture it on a grown man. A "Cooper" will forever be 6 years old to me.

Cullan and Colin are nice alternatives that would age easier with the child.

I don't care for Rylan either. With Cullan or Colin, it doesn't flow well. It also just adds to the juevinille sound of the whole name.

Cullan Rhys or Colin Rhys would be lovely. (Rhys is the original spelling of Reece, it's not a trendy spelling. :D)

  17. No offense, but that's a terrible name. People will be asking questions about his name his whole life. How to say it, how to spell it, and if one is a middle name, etc.

  18. I like Rylan Cooper. And Cooper coould be like a nickname.

  19. I like Cooper, but don't worry about what other people think. There will always be someone who doesn't like a name, but you and your partner should really come to some agreement. Good luck!

  20. I'm not a fan of Cooper; but it is a decent name, just not my style. I prefer Ryan over Rylan, all in all it is an okay name.

  21. i think that you shouldnt name him cooper RYLAN. i myself thought it was a typo. maype call him cooper ryan instead. or even cooper dylan :] thats super cute.
