I need 6th grade help!?

Well i now am in 6th grade now. But on the 2nd day of school i came home doing my homework until 9:00 pm!!!!!! Thats just the start! Please help me YAHOO ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!

If you have any study halls or free time at school do future homework assignments.  Start homework when you get home.  Use your time wisely.  At the school I work at, 6th graders get about 1 1/2 hours of homework a night.  Sometimes in the beginning the teachers seem to overwhelm students with new assignments.  It won't always be this way.  Good luck in 6th grade.

for me i don't wast time as soon as i come home change my clothes and grab a snack and then i stat my homework and stay focus do not get off your table(desk) Hope this works for you remember no getting off the table

Well my friend, looks like you're in for a real beating once you reach high school and college, ESPECIALLY college. Trust me, once you're in college you'll meet plenty of people who haven't slept for 24+ hours and you might be one of them. Finishing your homework at 9 PM is nothing really big by the end of 8th grade. Ok think about this, did you procrastinate in any way before starting your homework? What homework did you have and how much was it? Just get to homework as soon as you can from now on, then you'll be done earlier. Don't spend time doing unproductive things. For the transition to middle school from elem. school, yes the workload will seem a little harsh. Just be glad you're not under any other types of pressure at the moment. Have a great middle school life!
