By the way...i am a male and do not enjoy scrapbooking or jewelery making. Some things that looked cool...but too expensive were chip art (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip_art ) , and airsoft.

paint ball nitro,powered rc cars are very fun and is a good hobbie for every age above 15.both of those are fun and alway have somthing new!

even though you're a guy,you can take up sewing? you can make hoodies and shirts and such.

Leather working is fun and you can find small kits to start off with just to see if you like it.

Woodworking is always fun. Building things like bird houses or small peices of furniture.

Restoring furniture.

Painting on canvas.

Learn to weld - it is a skill that is highly sought after and you can make some really cool things.

Make wind chimes out of scrap copper.

Check out recycling web sites. There are lots of cool things to do with tires, cans, jeans, etc.

Plant something you can eat like tomatoes, bell peppers or canteloupe.

Learn to play an instrument. Even the harmonica can sound really awesome after very little practice. You can buy one that comes with a video on how to play. Some very famous songs have harmonica parts. (Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Blues Traveler)

Try sculpting with clay.

Try airbrush painting.

Try restoring old bikes or motorcycles.

well you can collect rocks, if you are by a nearby river all you need is a pan and you can pan for things. i went last week and found some rubies, but rock collecting isnt really for me.

you can wood carve, i made a couple of spears a year ago and put on a arrow head my aunt got for me.

fishing is always good to, but that tends to get a bit expensive

i picked up a slowstick airplane when i was 13, the plane only costs 20-30 bucks
