a few weeks a go i got into a fight with a gang of youths girl struck me in the face since she was a women i decided to let her offf and forget about it since then her boyfreind has been trying to fight me i told the police nothing was done im a law abiding citezen and have nevr got into trouble so know i am wondering if should fight this guy my freinds have warned me that he is very tough i would not last 10 secs against him hes the same height and same body shape im not sacred or indmdated by him rumors are he carrys a knife that sacres me what should i do leave him or beat him

Fighting is not going to solve anything. Regardless of who wins or loses, the drama will continue. Just ignore it all, move past it and have nothing to do with them. If it becomes a problem, document as much as possible with witness, record conversations, etc and go to the police. You have no idea what this person is capable of and if  you fight him this time it will probably turn into a few more fights with him until it is out of control. Not worth it.

Let it go and do your best to avoid any contact with that group, including the girl.  Stay out of trouble, you have a lot of living ahead of you and since you say you're a law abiding citizen don't do anything to change that.

As you mature, you'll realize that was the right approach to take.

as you have already said they were youths who you got into an altercation with. as per usual the police do nothing but it is your right to be safe wherever you are. i wouldn't bother fighting this neanderthal idiot i would get a restraining order out on them then the police will do their civic duty and protect you. sometimes you have to go that extra mile to show you mean business without being violent. good luck.
